What’s Included and What You’ll Need to Bring
At Kittatinny, our cabins are stocked with almost everything you could need. However, there are still a few things that you’ll need to bring to make the most of your trip. Each cabin type offers different amenities, so this cabin camping packing list is different for each cabin type.
Luxury Cabins:
At Kittatinny, our luxury cabins offer an excellent transition into cabin camping in New York & Pennsylvania. Experience the comforts of home at our Delaware River campground! With amenities such as a full bathroom and a kitchen, our luxury cabins give you access to the great outdoors without roughing it too much. In the kitchen, you can find a refrigerator, stovetop, sink, coffee maker & mugs, toaster, microwave, basic utensils, pot & pan, wine opener, and place settings. Plus, some luxury cabin rentals have ovens! If you’re planning on cooking, make sure to pack foods that don’t require an oven depending on your cabin type, and please bring towels, blankets, pillows, linens, grilling utensils, and personal items. Putting these items on your cabin camping packing list will help you to make the most of your cabin camping along the Delaware River!
Suggested Items for Your Cabin Camping Checklist
Regardless of what cabin type you stay in, there are certain items that can make your New York & Pennsylvania campground experience even more memorable! Here are some things to consider packing for your trip:
Sunscreen and Bug Spray:
When spending lots of time in the great outdoors, packing sunscreen and bug spray are always a great idea! With these items, you can enjoy time outside without worrying about sunburns and bug bites.
Swimsuits:
When visiting our campground along the Delaware River, you’ll want to take advantage of the location and take a dip in the river a time or two! Consider booking a Delaware River trip while you’re camping at Kittatinny — kayak, raft, tube or canoe!
Rainy Day Gear:
Be prepared for unexpected weather changes by packing rain gear such as waterproof jackets, ponchos, and umbrellas. A deck of cards or a good book can also come in handy during indoor downtime.
Comfy Clothing:
Pack clothes that are comfortable and suitable for outdoor activities. Think cozy sweatshirts, durable pants, and sturdy hiking boots. Don’t forget extra layers for chilly evenings around the campfire!
Entertainment:
Keep the fun going with entertainment options such as board games, playing cards, and books. Unplugging and enjoying quality time together is what cabin camping is all about!
Toiletries:
Don’t leave home without your toiletry essentials like toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, and towels. Keeping clean and fresh will enhance your camping experience.
Personal Items:
Lastly, don’t forget personal items like medications, identification, and any other essentials specific to your family’s needs. It’s always good to double check that these items are packed before making the trek out to your Poconos or Catskills cabin camping experience.
