The Amazing Maize Maze: September 15 – October 28
‘Tis the season for corn mazes! Looking for things to do in NYC with your kids? New York City’s only corn maze, the Amazing Maize Maze, is located at The Queens County Farm Museum. Within the maze there is the challenge of finding clues, solving puzzles, and mazing your way to Victory Bridge – where the stunning views of the maze are revealed. One of the largest fall events near NYC and located in Hudson Valley, NY, the Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze features over 7,000 illuminated pumpkins all hand-carved with various designs to create glowing sculptures. Fall O’Ween: September 16th-November 12th
Combine fall fun with spooky adventures and you get Fall O’Ween at the NY Botanical Garden in Bronx, NY. This fall event near NYC offers a ton of seasonal activities for all ages — like a beer garden, a puppet theater, pumpkins and gourds on display, festive fall planting and more. The Pumpkin Promenade is a must-see! Pumpkin Nights at the Bronx Zoo: September 28 – October 30
Pumpkin Nights at the Bronx Zoo debuts Thursday, September 28! This inaugural event in the Bronx, NY will feature more than 5,000 animal-themed carved pumpkins and scenes will be spread out over a half-mile trail of jack-o’-lanterns. There will be special lighting techniques, thematic music, and fall treats and activities before and after the trail. Mountain Glowster: September 29 – October 28
