Dear Team Kittatinny,
I’d like to take a moment to thank you for the great job you did on June 5, 6, and 7th in Barryville to make Canoe Trip #36 one of the best in memory!
Through your efforts, this trip has become a “don’t miss” annual event for my family and friends, this year drawing returning campers from New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania plus alumni flying in from Georgia, Michigan, California, Texas (2), and Hawaii.
Cirelli Camp/Canoe Trip 2013
The site was again in perfect condition, and the trash handlers kept everything neat, as we did our best to make their job as easy as possible. I really can’t imagine anything Kittatinny could have done to make this trip more enjoyable or memorable for all my campers!
It started in 1973 as a weekend outing for a handful of college friends. Two-and-a-half decades and three generations of campers make this trip too important a tradition to trust just anybody…and that’s why we’ll be camping with Kittatinny again.
Kittatinny’s staff, equipment and campground facilities have helped make this a tradition, one that will last into the next century. So if you’re on the Delaware and see thirty guys having the time of their lives, stop by and say hello. You can find us at a Kittatinny campground the first weekend in June…every year!!!

To Our KC Family,
Paddle Or Die Boys- 28 Miles Back to Civilization
Annual Overnight 28 mile Paddle Trip
We just finished our Annual 28 mile 2 night trip from Dingmans Ferry to the Delaware Water Gap. A trip that was started 9 years ago by 3 long time friends that enjoy the outdoors. This trip is stamped in our schedules and never missed, not even Tropical Storm Andrea stopped us this year. Over the years, our Paddle or Die group continued to expand with family members and friends that come from New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. The memories that we have created from this trip will last a life time, and are continually talked about during the year leading up to the trip. Memories that would have never been created without Kittatinny Canoes. You can find us every year in the 2nd weekend of June, just look for the Skull an Paddle.
If you are looking to enjoy a peaceful weekend that helps slow life down, contact Kittatinny Canoes. They have everything you need to make sure your experience along the beautiful Delaware River is nothing but perfect.
See you next year – the Decade Year!!
The Paddle Or Die Boys
Thank you for years of wonderful service from you and your helpfully friendly staff in the many canoe trips I have taken with Kittatinny Canoes. I first paddled down the Delaware when I was 13 years old in 1974 on a raft fashioned from a wooden pallet strapped with Styrofoam pontoons. I had the time of my young life and fell in love with the majesty of the Delaware River instantly. Since those summer days in the 70’s, thanks to Kittatinny Canoes I revisit the river year after year. At 52 years old I can honestly say it’s my favorite place on earth…I made five trips last summer and two already this year. Thank you again for your excellent company and the joy you’ve enabled in my life.
