Roebling Bridge
Roebling’s Delaware Aqueduct, better known today as the Roebling Bridge, is the oldest existing wire suspension bridge in the United States. Dating back to 1847, the bridge runs 535 feet over the Delaware River, from Minisink Ford, New York, to Lackawaxen, PA. Restored and reconstructed to maintain its use, the bridge structure is a reminder of what used to be.
