WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
We do not give credit or refunds due to the discomforts of nature. The fun continues rain or shine. Our refund policy varies, depending on the timing of your cancellation notice in advance of the reservation date:
Cabins:
3+ WEEKS: Refund minus $25 cancellation fee OR full refund issued in camp credit
  • - 2+ WEEKS: 50% of reservation issued in camp credit valid for one year from the issued date and 50% of reservation forfeited
    - LESS THAN 2 WEEKS: Full reservation forfeited
    Campsites:
    - 2+ WEEKS: Refund minus $25 cancellation fee OR full refund issued in camp credit
    - 1+ WEEKS: 50% of reservation issued in camp credit valid valid for one year from the issued date and 50% of reservation forfeited

WHAT MAKES K-CAMP DIFFERENT FROM OTHER CATSKILLS CAMPGROUNDS?
We’re different from other Catskills campgrounds in many ways. For one, our Delaware river tubing and rafting experiences set us apart from other Delaware river campgrounds. We also offer cabin rentals on the Delaware River to make stays all the more luxurious.
ARE THERE RESTROOMS ALONG THE RIVER?
No, there are no restrooms along the river. We recommend using the facilities at the base prior to launch.
CAN I COME TOUR THE PARK BEFORE I BOOK?
Yes! We just ask that you call ahead of time and check-in at the Camp Store before entering the park. Preferably no tours Friday – Sunday.
WHAT MAKES RIVER BEACH DIFFERENT FROM OTHER POCONOS CAMPGROUNDS?
We’re different from other Poconos campgrounds in many ways. For one, our Delaware river tubing and rafting experiences set us apart from other Delaware river campgrounds. We also offer cabin rentals on the Delaware River to make stays all the more luxurious.
IS WIFI AVAILABLE?
Yes, limited WiFi is currently available in and around our Camp Store.
CAN WE TAKE ANOTHER TRIP IF OUR TRIP GOES FASTER THAN EXPECTED?
Your reservation includes one trip down the river. If you have extra time, you’re welcome to book a second trip on the same or different route. Because we cannot predict or control the height or speed of the river, we provide approximate times. We cannot provide guaranteed times.

WHAT ELSE SHOULD I EXPECT?
- There is limited cell phone reception in our area, especially at the river bases, so prepare your driving directions before hand.
- We recommend taking your cell phones on the river in waterproof containers. We sell a variety of waterproof bags and plastic containers.
- You must be back between 5-6 pm, so plan your day accordingly, arrive early and spend the entire day on the river!
- To clean up after yourself, anything you bring with you, bring back!
WHAT IS THE SPEED LIMIT?
Because the Campground is full of active families with children, the speed limit throughout the Campground is 5MPH and is strongly enforced for your safety. We realize that this is ridiculous. If you do not feel that you are driving ridiculously slow, then you are driving too fast.
DO YOU HAVE BATHHOUSES AND SHOWERS?
Yes, we have permanent bath houses that offer showers and bathrooms. Certain camping areas at K-Camp are located further from our permanent bathhouses, but there are temporary bathroom-only facilities for guests to use. Feel free to take a look at our maps or speak to one of our Guest Relations team members to help you find your perfect site!

All of our cabins come with a private bathroom and shower.

DID YOU ACQUIRE CEDAR RAPIDS?
Yes! This year (2022), Kittatinny has acquired the neighboring property, Cedar Rapids Bar & Restaurant. Cedar Rapids will no longer offer river trips or camping. K-Camp has absorbed the old Cedar Rapids campsites, and they are available to book now! Sites 1101-1132 are former Cedar Rapids campsites, and are hike-in only.

WHAT IS YOUR PET POLICY?
Pets are welcome at both of our campgrounds with exception to buildings, playgrounds, Camp Store, food & beverage areas, pavilions & bathhouses. Pets must be kept on a leash and attended at all times in the campground. Guests are responsible to keep noise or disturbances to a minimum and must cleanup after their pet. Pets are only allowed in select designated cabins and not to be left unattended in the cabins or at campsites. Cabin fees: 1 pet – $50, 2 pets – $75. View our Pet Waiver here!
IS THERE GOOD FISHING?
We have great fishing available on-site at the river. A fishing license is required. Please note that we do not offer or issue fishing licenses at our location. You can learn more about the required fishing license here: New York / Pennsylvania
THIS IS MY FIRST TIME VISITING KITTATINNY CAMPGROUNDS. IS THERE ANYTHING I SHOULD KNOW?
We are so excited to have you stay with us! There are a few optional items you can bring along to maximize the fun during your trip. You are welcome to bring bicycles to help you get around the park. We also suggest bringing fishing poles and a fishing license for some quality family fishing. Please note that we do not offer or issue fishing licenses at our location. And keep in mind that while we do offer activities here at the park, including river trips, there are many local attractions that your family may enjoy as well! CAN I PURCHASE FROM YOUR STORE AND CHARGE IT TO MY CAMPSITE?
Yes! Whatever credit card you have on file can be used to pay for goods in our camp store.

WHAT HAPPENS IF WE'RE GOING TO ARRIVE AFTER THE CAMP STORE IS CLOSED?
If you think you will be showing up for your camping trip after hours, there are a few things we can do. Call 1-800-356-2852, our Guest Relations team will be happy to help you prepare for your arrival!
DO I NEED TO WEAR A LIFE JACKET?
Life Jackets Save Lives – we strongly encourage all to wear a life jacket while boating and swimming from boats and at the river’s edge. We provide everyone with a life jacket.

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY TRIP?
First, review proper river safety and the current river conditions.
Before arriving, every one in your group should review and sign our river trip acknowledgement of risk, which will be emailed to the reservation holder upon booking online.
DO YOU HAVE QUIET HOURS?
We do! Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm – 8:00 am. Anyone under 18 years of age must be at their site or cabin during these hours unless accompanied by an adult.
WHAT DOES THE PRICE INCLUDE?
Rates are per person and are based on the craft you choose. Per-person price includes the rental boat for the day, your paddles and life vests. You will also get FREE, one way transportation and a safety orientation. With any trip you choose, you have the boat all day! You must be back between 5-6 pm, so plan your day accordingly, arrive early and spend the entire day on the river!
WHERE DO I GET FIREWOOD?
We have firewood available for purchase at our Camp Store. Campers are no longer allowed to bring their own firewood. Due to invasive species such as the spotted lanternfly, we do not allow outside firewood to be brought to our campground. We have plenty of firewood here at our campground you can purchase during your stay! To preserve the beauty of our wooded campground, please do not cut down or damage trees in any way.
CAN I BRING MY OWN GOLF CART, MOTORIZED SCOOTER, HOVERBOARD, GO CART OR ATV TO THE CAMPGROUND?
For safety and liability reasons, guests are not permitted to bring any personal motorized or small engine vehicles into the Campground. Guests found in violation of this policy may be asked to leave without a refund.
HOW MANY CAMPGROUNDS DO YOU HAVE?
We have 2 campgrounds here at Kittatinny! We have the River Beach campground in Milford, PA and K-Camp in Barryville, NY.
ARE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ALLOWED?
Alcohol is permitted but glass containers are strictly prohibited. This is a family-friendly campground, so please be considerate of others and refrain from loud and unseemly language. Intoxicated behavior and underage drinking is not allowed.
CAN I SMOKE AT THE PARK?
Since we are a family-friendly Campground, smoking, including vaping, is only permitted at your campsite. All cabins are NON-SMOKING. Smoking is not permitted in or around any buildings. Smoking any substances besides tobacco will not be tolerated. Management reserves the right to fine violators of this policy.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
As with our camping reservations, the fun continues rain or shine!
Cancellations: All river reservations may be canceled up to seven days prior to receive a refund of your deposit minus a $10.00/person cancellation fee.
Inclement Weather: In cases of inclement weather that will affect the safety of river trips, such as heavy rainfall or thunderstorms, a rain check will be issued. Rain checks are valid for up to 1 year after issue date.
ARE CAMPFIRES ALLOWED?
You bet, unless when we are under a Burn Ban, so be sure to ask the Camp Store at check-in. We ask that campfires be confined to designated hours and they should never be left unattended. We do not permit outside firewood being brought into our park or the cutting of any of our trees or brush. Firewood is available for purchase at the Camp Store.
ARE FIREWORKS ALLOWED?
Fireworks of any kind are strictly prohibited.
IF I HAVE A RESERVATION, WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?
Reservations are booked on the hour. We do our best to honor reservation times. In order to do so, we ask that you show up before your booked time (unless you booked the first launch of the day) to check-in, sign release forms, and use the facilities to get into your river gear. We will get you up river in a timely manner. On most weekends, you are reserving your boat, and a round-about time. We will be prepared to transport the amount of people we are expecting, although groups arrive at all different times.
WHAT ARE YOUR CAMPING RATES?
Our rates depend on when you’d like to stay. Non-Peak season has lower rates than Peak season, and weekdays are lower than weekends.
DO YOU PRICE MATCH?
No, we do not price match for camping or river trips.
DO I NEED A RESERVATION FOR A RIVER TRIP?
No you do not; we accept walk-ins, although not every trip listed is available on a walk-in basis especially in the off season.
Not only will a reservation ensure your preferred trip, you will also save $5.00 a person when you book over 24 hours in advance. Certain days and time periods get very busy, so we highly recommend booking ahead of time. Visit our River Trips page to book your river trip online!
DO ALL OF YOUR CAMPSITES OFFER WATER AND ELECTRICITY?
No. We have a variety of sites that range from water and electricity, water only, and completely rustic with no water or electricity. When booking online, you can select which amenities you would like to have, and it will provide you with a list of relevant campsites to choose from. If you have any questions, you may call our Guest Relations team for assistance!
DOES MY CAMPING RESERVATION COME WITH A RIVER TRIP ADVENTURE?

HOW FAR AWAY IS YOUR EAST COAST CAMPGROUND FROM THE DELAWARE RIVER?
Lucky for you, we offer some of the best camping near the Delaware River, because our Camp-Resort is located right on it. We also offer some of the best RV camping and cabin rentals near the Delaware River, with 10+ accommodation types!
DO YOU HAVE FLOATING COOLERS AVAILABLE TO RENT?
We do not have floating coolers to rent, but we do have them for sale at both of our Camp Stores!

CAN I USE MY OWN BOAT?
No, we do not transport private equipment for trips or allow private equipment to launch from our bases.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO GO?
The diverse seasons our region offers are all truly unique. The Delaware River is an amazing place to be any time of the year and especially great in the spring, summer and fall. We operate April through October, weather permitting. In the off season it is important to call ahead, as some river bases do not operate daily.

We are busiest on weekends and holidays including; Independence Day, Memorial Day and Labor Day. Reservations are highly recommended for these dates.

The river height varies by season and the current weather. The Delaware River’s levels do not rely on dam releases. Call ahead for river conditions including height and temperature, or check here.

The Upper Delaware offers Class 1 & 2 rapids for rafting. You will paddle through some incredibly scenic areas and through some great sets of rapids including: Skinners Falls, Colang, Kunkeli, Cedar, Shohola, Staircase, Mongaup, Butlers Rift, Mill Rift and Eddy Farm.
 
ARE THERE ANY FORMS I NEED TO SIGN IF I BOOK AN ADVENTURE?
Yes. After making an adventure reservation you will receive an acknowledgement of risk in your email. This will need to be signed prior to your trip.
ARE THERE WILD ANIMALS AT YOUR CAMPGROUNDS?
We are out in nature so you may encounter some furry or slimy friends during your stay! Please keep your campsite tidy and avoid leaving unattended food or garbage out. If you do happen to encounter any wildlife, it is best to leave them alone.
DO I NEED TO WEAR A WETSUIT?
If the sum of water temperature and air temperature is less than 120 degrees, a wet suit or proper cold weather attire is required to prevent hypothermia.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I MAKE MY RESERVATION?
We recommend booking at least 6 months in advance of the desired arrival date, as our Campground will fill up quickly! We book reservations up to 360 days in advance, so you can even re-book your next stay at checkout!
WILL MY RESERVATION GUARANTEE A SPECIFIC CAMPSITE OR CABIN ASSIGNMENT?
We do offer you the opportunity to guarantee your favorite campsite or cabin by paying our applicable locking fee. If you opt-out of the locking fee, you are guaranteed your selected site or cabin type, but NOT the specific unit number.
WHAT DELAWARE RIVER TRIPS DO YOU OFFER?
Plenty! We offer Delaware river tubing, kayak trips, canoeing and rafting trips! For all of your Delaware river trip needs visit our River Trips page.
WHAT AGE/WEIGHT REQUIREMENTS DO YOU HAVE?
Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult an any vessel.
Raft, Kayak, Canoe
Children must be at least 30lbs to raft
- For tandem kayaks and canoes, children must weigh at least 60lbs
- For solo kayaks, children must be weigh at least 90lbs.

  • Tube:
- In order to be alone in a tube, you must be at least 60 lbs and be able to properly fit in our open bottom tubes.
