The Hawk’s Nest
This stretch of Route 97 is considered one of the most scenic drives in all of New York. If you can handle heights, find one of the pull offs and keep an eye out for bald eagles. Don’t forget the binoculars, you might see some of our rafters out on the river!
Hike the Kittatinny Ridge
Visit the summit of the Kittatinny Ridge and hike one of the many trails that cover the 16,000 acres High Point State Park. Take the Monument Trail (3.5 miles) and visit the High Point Monument, dedicated to New Jersey’s veterans. View all the available hikes here.
