Stop #3 The Heron Restaurant
Once you’ve been driving through the mountains for a while, you’ll stumble upon the town of Narrowsburg, NY where you can stop at one of our favorite local restaurants – The Heron Restaurant! Apart from only being 15 minutes away from Kittatinny K-Camp in Barryville, NY, this restaurant is also jam packed with delicious brunch, dinner, drinks, and even catering options.
Stop #4: Kittatinny Canoes K-Camp
If you drive just a bit past Narrowsburg, you’ll land at our NY campground in Barryville! Our Camp-Resort is a great home-base for either a day of fun on the Delaware or an overnight stay! Plus, there’s nothing better than camping in the Catskills!
As one of the best campgrounds near the Catskills and Poconos, K-Camp offers a variety of ways to stay including cabins, RV sites, and tent sites – making it an easy pitstop for some rest. There’s nothing like spending an evening around a campfire with family and friends!
On the other hand, if you’re looking to add a little adventure to your road trip, you may want to take advantage of one of our River Trips along the Delaware River or take a ride down our Dual Racing Zipline! For our River Trips, we offer many different routes and timelines for tubes, canoes, kayaks, and rafts. Check out all of our activities here.
Stop #5 Barryville General
On your way out of K-Camp, a few miles down the road is a local must see – Barryville General. Home to many different food options, beer, home decor, and so much more. They even have a special Jerk Chicken restaurant pop up located beneath the store and trust us, it’s delicious!
Stop #6 Cedar Rapids Bar and Restaurant
If you’re needing a little pick-me-up on your way into the mountains, a stop at Cedar Rapids Bar & Restaurant is the perfect addition to your Catskills road trip. Located right along the Delaware River, the view doesn’t get much better from the porch. Grab yourself a quick bite to eat from their carefully curated menu – including items like appetizers, salads, vegan options, mains, desserts, and much more.
