2020 Volunteers Needed for Kittatinny Canoes 32nd Annual Delaware River Clean Up – TBD

MILFORD, Pa. – Volunteers are needed for Kittatinny Canoes 32nd annual “On and Under the Delaware River Clean Up,” which will take place in July dates to be determined.

Every year Kittatinny sponsors this 70-mile river clean up effort, the only one of its kind, which demonstrates the adventure company’s commitment to preserving the beauty of the free flowing Delaware River.  Kittatinny keeps the river clean and the banks green!

This is Kittatinny’s way of giving back to this wonderful resource.

Volunteers will receive free camping and canoes on river cleanup days as well as breakfast and dinner.

  • TBD, volunteers will meet at Kittatinny Campgrounds, located at 3854 State Route 97, Barryville, NY, 12719.Cleanup goes from Ten Mile River Access in New York to River Beach.
  • TBD, volunteers will meet at Dingmans Ferry at the National Park Service parking lot next to the Dingmans Ferry Bridge.Cleanup goes from River Beach to Delaware Water Gap.

This clean-up has been awarded two first-place awards from “Take Pride in America”, a recognition program formed by President George H.W. Bush.

Fall at Kittatinny

Catch the spectacular view of the Delaware River and Catskill Mountains as you zip over the colorful trees on our Dual-Racing Zipline. Relax as you paddle down the scenic Delaware River for a perfect view of the rolling hills and mountains of changing leaves. Our Dual-Racing Zipline and Kittatinny Paintball are open Saturdays and Sundays. Spend the cool nights around the campfire at one of our campgrounds in New York and Pennsylvania. On and Under the Delaware River Clean Up – TBD

Kittatinny Canoes’ 28th Annual “On and Under the Delaware River Clean Up” will be held July 17th – July 19th this year, 8:00am – 5:00pm.

  • Monday, July 17th, we will meet at Kittatinny Campgrounds, located at 3854 State 97, Barryville, NY, 12719.
  • Tuesday, July 18th, we will meet at our Dingmans Base, located next to the Dingmans Ferry Bridge.
  • Wednesday, July 19th, we will be at the Matamoras Base sorting the trash collected from the River Clean Up.

Free camping is offered on all days of the cleanup. Breakfast and dinner are provided.
